ARK’s core team is strongly supported by the technical team which includes qualified & experienced Engineers, Architects, draftsmen, quantity surveyors and a technical crew for site operations, while matters relating to budgets, planning and finance are handled by our cost management team.
Hiran Bibile
Managing Director
MBA (Australia), ACMA, CGMA, Eng. Tech. (Australia), CAPM
Hiran has a wealth of experience in strategic management in investment banking as well in the engineering and construction industry. He was responsible for setting up strategic business units in Sri Lanka and the Maldives for top-tier investment banks and construction companies before he launched ARK Global Holdings, the Group holding company of various subsidiaries, specializing in Project Management, Engineering & Construction, investments, finance and real estate.
Amongst several Snr. Management positions held throughout his career, Hiran’s noteworthy recent achievements in the Leisure & residential sectors were when he spearheaded the contract documentation & project oversight for Habitat Kosgoda, a boutique Villa project in Kosgoda, Sri Lanka, as well as overseeing the Maldives Country operations particularly, the One Avenue project, a luxury residential apartment project in Hulhumale`, Maldives. Collectively, these two projects under his purview were valued around USD 18 million.
Currently operating in the capacity as Founder / Managing Director of ARK Global Holdings, Hiran oversees several design & build turnkey projects as well as Construction, refurbishment & renovation projects in Sri Lanka whilst consulting for overseas projects as well. The projects currently ongoing in Sri Lanka range from Private Villa’s in Digana & Dickwella to residential vertical living projects in the Commercial Capital of Sri Lanka and, residential housing projects in and around Colombo and the suburbs.
Hiran holds a degree in Engineering Technology from the Swinburne University of Technology, Australia and is a Certified Associate in Project Management. He has an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant, with a degree from CIMA, UK.
Architect Sumudu Abeygunawardena

Arch. Sumudu is a Chartered Architect who works in collaboration with ARK Global Holdings on a project – by – project basis whilst also currently serving as the Founder / Senior Architect at Sumudu Abeygunawardena Associates.
Nearing 15 years of industry experience in Architecture, Arch. Sumudu has gained considerable knowledge and hands on experience delivering a range of Architectural projects both locally and overseas ranging from residential projects, hospitality projects such as boutique Villas and commercial projects such as the iconic Mercedes Benz Center DIMO 800 for which some of the landmark projects have garnered both local and international recognition and design excellence awards.
Arch. Sumudu is a Chartered Architect holding a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Moratuwa, Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. He is registered as a Chartered Architect with the Sri Lanka institute of Architects and is currently the visiting lecturer at the department of Architecture and the department of landscape design at the Moratuwa University.
Eng. Kasun Madusanka
Consulting Structural Engineer

Eng. Kasun is a Chartered Civil Engineer with a specialist focus area in Structural Engineering. With over 11 years’ experience in civil engineering, Eng. Kasun has gained considerable knowledge in planning, designing and value engineering in the Construction industry.
Eng. Kasun’s experience in local and international projects ranges from resorts, villas, commercial buildings, residential apartments and houses as well as highways and flyovers. Kasun’s value addition as a Chartered Civil Engineer has seen his expertise contribution into projects with a collective value of around USD 40 million with having overseen projects in the Maldives as well.
Eng. Kasun is a Chartered Engineer holding a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Peradeniya. He is also a Member of the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (MIESL) and of the Engineering Council Sri Lanka (MECSL). Kasun is currently reading for his MBA from the NSBM Green University, Sri Lanka and he holds a Lean Six Sigma White Belt (LSSWB).
Eng. Nuwan Tharanga

Eng. Nuwan has over 18 years’ industry experience and has Championed several Mega projects with Foreign funding agencies such as JICA, SIDA and ADB. Engineer Nuwan’s collective experience ranges from Water supply, Waste water management, Power plant, Real estate & property, Large scale commercial and mixed developments and, Luxury resort projects both in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
Some significant projects in the Luxury resort segment which Eng. Nuwan has undertaken are as Lead Engineer at the Alila Hyatt Resort, Maldives, Electrical & ELV Engineer at the Marriot Resort & SPA, Sri Lanka and the MEP Engineer at the Riverina Resort development project.
Eng. Nuwan holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa with a Masters in Power Engineering from Germany and a Masters of Science in Project Management from University of Bedfordshire, UK. He is a member of the Institute of Engineering Technology, UK (IET), an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers, Sri Lanka (AMIESL) and an Associate Professional of the Green Building Council, Sri Lanka.
Eng. Dilan Fonseka

Eng. Dilan is a qualified Civil Engineer with a specialist focus area in Quality Assurance. With around 20 years’ hands on experience in civil engineering, Eng. Dilan has gained considerable knowledge in Project planning, Project management, Quality assurance and value engineering in the construction industry.
Eng. Dilan’s experience in local projects ranges from resorts & villas, commercial buildings, residential houses and apartments as well as highways. Eng. Dilan’s collective hands on experience as a qualified Civil Engineer spans around 20 years of experience with involvement at various levels of the Project Development & Project implementation phases with the projects delivered having a collective value of around USD 12 million.
Eng. Dilan overseas ARK Global Holdings technically qualified team of quantity surveyors, technical officers, purchasing officers and a contingent of on-site supervisors and skilled and un-skilled labourers experienced in every type of work scope required for any civil engineering construction or renovation / refurbishment.
